We came across this location on the way to Danby Beacon. We were drawn to the park and tranquil stream which were visible from the main road as we entered the village of Great Ayton. We decided to stop for a break, but realised it would make a really nice spot for our first night away. We checked for parking restricton signage but there were none. Also, no parking charges either. The village is stunning and has some nice independent eateries, coffee shops and two pubs that we were aware of.
