Blenkinsopp Castle Inn

We stumbled upon Blenkinsopp Castle Inn through a campervan group, and after seeing how many people had reviewed it, we decided to give it a try. It was one of the best pub stops we've ever had. The owners were incredibly welcoming, polite, and professional. The food was absolutely amazing—so good in the evening that we had to go back for breakfast in the morning too! (Everything was freshly cooked.) Harry, who worked behind the bar, was extremely professional, polite, and also very welcoming. The pub's decor is gorgeous (all done by the owners) with a beautiful open fireplace. The locals are all very friendly and welcoming. One of them organizes bingo and quiz nights; we actually participated in the quiz night, and it was incredibly fun! It felt like we'd made some great friends! The pub's history is also fascinating!
