Large, free park-and-ride lot with excellent bus connections to the center of Groningen. A bus ticket costs €6 and allows up to 5 people to travel to the city center and back. We went to the Christmas market, and since it was already quite late, we spent the night in the parking lot. There were still many visitors to the sports facilities in the evening and the following morning, but we didn't experience any problems.
