CAMPING LES PINS

Ideally located on the edge of the forest, the LES PINS ** campsite has 73 quiet, shaded and well-kept pitches. The outdoor municipal swimming pool, 2 minutes' walk away, allows campers to enjoy swimming for free. For the more sporty, the Bowl d'Hag – Indoor Skate Park (just behind the campsite) offers all the pleasures of sliding, from BMX to scooters and rollerblading. To reach the city center, nothing could be easier by taking public transport (Ritmo city bus) or the cycle path network (2.8 km) or even using your vehicle because it is very easy to park in the hyper center of Haguenau. There is plenty to do in this friendly and attractive “little big city”. Eat, stroll on the numerous terraces and go shopping, visit the 3 museums (Alsatian Museum, Historical Museum and Luggage Museum), take two tourist hiking trails, take part in events and activities galore. For a pleasant stay in the city, there is also a program of guided tours in the summer season and numerous activities in the forest. This forest, recently labeled Forêt d’Exception, is located 10 minutes by car from Camping Les Pins **. The 6th largest forest massif in France, the Haguenau forest offers a diversity of activities: hiking (200km of marked trails), circuits dedicated to cycling on its own site, a picnic area, a playground, a inn as well as numerous nature activities such as silvotherapy. A true green lung of the city, thanks to its map and its hiking sheets you can fill up on nature! Finally, very close to the campsite **, you will find a large food store (2 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot), and a farm which offers beautiful baskets filled with local products (5 minutes by car). Gateway to the North of Alsace, from this campsite you can visit, discover, hike, cycle and explore the fortified castles, the picturesque villages (Hunspach, the French's favorite village in 2020, is located 20 minutes by car) , the pottery villages, the hop farms, the breweries and taste the famous pretzels from the Fabrique à Bretzels…. Don’t hesitate to go to the Tourist Office located in the city center in the Alsatian Museum building for advice! You will have understood, there is enough to spend an authentic and friendly stay to reconnect with nature at the Les PINS** campsite, and thus live great experiences in the Pays de Haguenau!
