Tourist center in the heart of the salt marsh area near Hallum. An interesting center where you can learn about the history, flora and fauna, and sociology of the area. The neighbor, a very friendly and sociable farmer, keeps the center open (there's no charge and it's very freely accessible). Beautiful location! You can use the restrooms (free) until 6:30 PM and the coffee machine inside (€1 per drink). Overnight stays are possible in consultation with the neighbor. Very quiet, in a lush nature reserve with an outdoor picnic table. Be careful with the wind here, as the Wadden Sea coast is nearby.
