If you follow the gravel road up from the town and follow the signs for the Canyon you'll come across multiple places to stop for a night or two. The water in the river is clean, swimmable and drinkable. However, there is absolutely no signal up there so take a good book or a boardgame! Its a genuinely beautiful spot!
