GlampingPark Schloss Thurn

The GlampingPark in Heroldsbach (near Nuremberg), which opened in July 2025, is just a few minutes' drive from the A3 and A73 motorways and is directly adjacent to the Schloss Thurn amusement park. Idyllically located on the edge of the forest and at the gateway to the Franconian Switzerland, nature lovers and those who enjoy being active will also find what they are looking for here. For those who are just passing through, there are 100 pitches in the front of the campsite (electricity and water can be booked separately). For those who want to stay longer, there are 60 spacious pitches and seven SafariLodges in the back of the campsite (electricity and water included). There are also four fenced-in dog pitches, a dog park and a dog shower. Children can have lots of fun on the jumping pillow. Moreover there are six sanitary buildings, vending machines for snacks and drinks, a grey water and waste disposal station, and vending machines for emptying toilet cassettes (€2 per emptying). Independent check-in and check-out is possible at the self-service terminal. You can order bread rolls, pretzels, baguettes, and croissants for breakfast, and in the evening, you can dine in the special atmosphere of the Western Saloon.
