Outside the village of Heustreu, there's a very quiet parking area on a hill. This is the old, former community sports field. There are no parking restrictions, and you can drive right up to the edge of the site. Be careful, the slope drops steeply, but the view is fantastic: to the left, Hollstadt, and to the right, Heustreu, and further on to Bad Neustadt. From here, you can also see the Rhön Mountains, 20 km away. If you walk left along the edge of the site, past the pine forest, a narrow trail branches off to the right along the slope, down to Hollstadt. This is the starting point for mountain bike tours. And a request to everyone who visits this beautiful place: Please keep it clean, because we all want to find clean places to feel comfortable.
