(6611) Hoelsand - Sunndalsvegen

A very narrow and bumpy road leads to this beautiful spot for one or two camper vans (if you know each other). From the river bank you have a grandiose view of the valley towards Sunndalsøra. Mind the ground clearance, width and height of your vehicle! We got there with a 4x4 panel van with extra ground clearance. The spot is „in the wild“, so no facilities whatsoever. You can access the river Driva via a very(!) steep incline. Please respect the „no fishing“ signs, as the fish population is endangered by a parasite and needs to recover. There is a small fire pit, but please mind the wildfire protection periods. As always, enjoy your time and leave no trace!
