There is a limit. Parking lot is hidden. Turn towards the youth hostel and then take the left-hand driveway. Directly between a sports area (not public), the youth hostel and a university. Nothing is there; neither toilet, nor electricity, nor water. A short 5-10 minute walk in the middle of the old town of Ingolstadt.
