(35100) Ηράκλεια - Livadia - Lamia Highway

On a collapsed bridge, 50m parallel to the newly built road bridge. Accordingly, easily accessible for all vehicles and only 50m away from a well-developed but hardly used road. A bit difficult (but possible with 6m van without wedges) to find flat places. Right on the river with a small weir with a waterfall. Picturesque view of the gorge and starting point of two hiking trails (sign with hiking map 200m away across the river). The Monopati Railway Trail is spectacular! 10km away from Thermopylae. Were alone on the east side of the bridge day and night, hardly any garbage. On the west side of the bridge a few deposits, three or four cars parked there during the day, in the evening (also on the west side) a group of young people for half an hour. At night there was only the sound of the river and an owl. (Sunday in December)
