(CA13 0SU) - Grange Lane

Another big dirt layby next to a road. Maybe space for 20 vehicles. It's rural so it will be reasonably quiet after hours and it's not National Trust so I don't think anyone will move you on. The circular walk of Loweswater Lake passes by this spot so it's ideal for a base camp. When I stayed there, there was an honesty box opposite the phone box for tea and coffee. It's level, no sloping. No mobile signal (ID Mobile/3).
