- No overnight parking - Free open parking within the grounds of Crichton Field in Dumfries. Plenty of parking in a huge open car park... no height or length restrictions. It is located opposite Easterbrook Hall, which housed the Lockerbie Inquiry. These grounds were bequeathed to the people of Dumfries and, as such, are free to use and enjoy. Please take care of the area... there are beautiful, well-kept gardens... a restaurant... a pub, and a golf course all nearby. Use and enjoy... but please respect the area and keep it free!
