(LS29 0BZ) - Denton Road

I stayed in the Ilkley Leisure center car park for two nights with my two boys and 2 x dogs. I asked permission first and went swimming with my boys on both mornings (that way we took advantage of showers and toilets at £9 for us all). The staff where lovely and said it was ok to leave our large LWB van over night. The car park backs on to a massive field with picnic benches. There are also x2 electric charge points for electric vehicles. The leisure centre has outdoor tennis courts on site and an indoor heated pool. There is also an outside impressive looking lido but this was closed due to building work (locals said it had been going on for some time) We really enjoyed staying here,it was quiet besides teenagers doing wheelies at 10pm but they didn't stay long. I felt safe and secure with my children. The leisure centre is a two minute walk from large field which backs onto a beautiful river.
