Beautiful spot in the Besh-Tash national park. I paid 100 SOM for entrance (I think it's per car) down at the gate. There are some yurts and a lot of cows, sheeps and horses. There are other spots around here. This one is easily reachable with 2WD van. It's around 6 km to the Besh-Tash lake from here. The road goes on for another 5 km before ending right before the lower lake. In dry weather 2WD van can be driven to the very end of the road, but I found it to be a bit too bumpy for my taste and walked from here. Locals drive there routinely even with overloaded FWD Ford Transits. There is no cell reception in the entire park. Also don't count on Google maps. The road is not marked there and you will end up on the wrong side of the Besh-Tash river when trying to enter the park. The correct road is clearly visible on satellite maps.
