(230 62) Itilo - Unnamed Road

Near the village of Kelefa, an open grassy area with views over the entire bay to the west and the foot hills of Taygetus to the north dotted with tiny village. Access road from the east is a small road but in excellent condition. There is an impressive ruined fortress just below this lookout. Looks very appealing for an overnight stay. A gorgeous rest stop in the spring sunshine surrounded by wildflowers and views to everywhere and promises a stunning sunset over the sea. NB Road up from the bay on the western side is very steep at the bottom. Going down was fine in my small 3.5t truck but the eastern road in is much more comfortable.
