If you're looking for a beautiful spot on the lake in complete peace and quiet, this is the place for you. You do have to navigate the somewhat steep, bumpy road with rocks and potholes, but it's absolutely worth it. It was perfectly manageable with our VW California, as long as you drive slowly and carefully. It's a small spot, so probably not suitable for larger campervans. We were able to turn around, but larger campervans aren't, so if you're unsure, walk there first. We only saw someone fishing on the other side; otherwise, it was complete silence. There's a fire pit and easy access to the lake with its crystal-clear water. Perfect for a refreshing dip. And yes, of course there are mosquitoes, but where isn't there? Please keep it clean and tidy!
