Beautiful place directly at the foot of one of the highest dunes of Erg Lehoudi. The Erg is much smaller and lower than Erg Chebbi or Erg Chegaga, but it is also less busy - only at sunset, there were some people and you could hear the drums from the nearby camp in the evening. Access is possible even with a large fwd camper (we have 7.40m plus bike rack), but a bit tricky: Take the entrance to the northern track at 29.903519,-5.616126, then go straight west while always keeping right until keeping left just before the crossing of the third wadi (29.906134,-5.647442). From there, cross the even, hard surface (somewhat softer areas are usually visible by tracks, drive around these depending on the type of vehicle, if necessary check on foot beforehand) directly towards the southernmost camp, which is visible from afar. Drive around the flat dune and enjoy the silence. About 2 vehicles passed us per day, otherwise you can stand one flat dune to the east, where it should be even quieter.
