(57544) Kennebec - Unnamed Road

Byre Lake Recreational Area: Excellent spot less than 10 minutes off I90. Follow HW273 to a well maintained gravel road (239th st). Area is 1.5 miles down this road. Area has a boat launch, a small beach, volleyball net, horseshoe pits, and some BBQ areas. Very quiet beautiful spot to stop for the night or just for a picnic. Our dog enjoyed running all around the big grassy field, and swimming at the beach. 2 paws up:) Pit Toilet is available, but it is in pretty bad shape. There is even an electrical hookup available for bigger RVs that need that type of thing. Credit to patfux on iOverlander for posting this site.
