Turn off the road and follow the uneven path up to the former Kirkberg Fortress (Wehrmacht positions in the mountain). There are various undisturbed places in the area. We recommend turning left before reaching the first lake and following the path until you reach a cliff. Here you are well protected and have an amazing view of the sea. The beach is below and can be easily reached on foot. In the morning a small herd of reindeer passed by and we were able to watch sea eagles feeding. When driving you should watch out for stones and rubble, otherwise it is not a great challenge for a 4WD vehicle. Highly recommended!
