(R0M 1A0) Kirkella - 2012 Trans-Canada Highway

Rest area along Highway 1, right next to the Manitoba Visitor Center. The visitor center was closed for the season (end of March). However, the restrooms are open and heated. Behind the visitor center is a larger gravel area, further away from the highway. Many trucks were parked here. There are also some picnic tables and benches, with grassy areas. The site is located on the highway... so it's not quiet, but the noise level was perfectly acceptable for us, and we were able to sleep peacefully. Good for one night.
