Timber Trail Campground

Timber Trail Campground is the perfect place to spend time with family and friends while enjoying nature in a relaxing atmosphere. In addition to running scheduled activities most weekends throughout the summer, they have a heated swimming pool, recreation area, playground, horseshoe pits, and easily accessible outdoor activities. The campground is on the Ahnapee State Trail and adjacent to the Ahnapee River, with complete river access for kayaking, canoeing or fishing. They offer docks on the river for fishing along with a small electric motorized boat, and have kayaks and canoes for rent. Outside of the campground, you have easy access to the city of Algoma, where you can enjoy Lake Michigan fishing, take a walk on the sandy beach or boardwalk, tour the historic winery, visit the local shops and restaurants and enjoy the charm of a small town. Algoma is the Gateway to Door County, where you can enjoy the many festivals and events happening all summer long. Green Bay is also only 40 minutes away, so it provides easy access to Packer Training Camps, Packer Games, Bay Beach, and much more! Come as guests, leave as friends!
