Trebewitch Auto Camp

Trebewitch Auto Camp is a camp with THE view! It is located close to Sarajevo, on the slopes of Trebević mountain (protected area and nature park), one of the city’s Olympic mountains and a protected nature area. Just 5 km from the city center, the camp offers essential infrastructure (electricity, water, restrooms) and a cozy terrace and a fire-pit area with panoramic mountain views. It is pet-friendly, and wildlife like roe deer and rabbits can often be seen nearby. Location Nestled in a mini-valley between forests and creeks, the camp overlooks mountains surrounding Sarajevo: Treskavica, Bjelašnica, Igman, Bitovnja, and Vranica. The access road is paved except for the final 320 meters of well-maintained gravel. What we Offer Our camp is designed for travelers with motorhomes, camper vans, and adventurers on two wheels. We currently offer 6 spacious pitches, each with stunning panoramic views of surrounding mountains. The pitches are approx. 9×7 m long, totaling 10 parking spots, depending on the size of camper. For safety and space reasons, we cannot accommodate large towable trailers requiring extra maneuvering space and vehicles longer than 7.5 m. Mount Trebević A favorite Sarajevo escape, Trebević offers attractions like the cable car, bobsled track, Sunnyland, Hotel Pino, Jure Franko lodge, and Brus picnic area. At Trebewitch, you fall asleep under the stars and wake up to mountain silence. Our team Olja Latinović works in sustainable tourism, focusing on developing visitor experiences in destinations with focus on protected areas. She is an experienced sustainability and outdoor professional, promoting green destinations, environmental conservation, and sustainable growth. She is a certified sustainable tourism professional (GSTC), with experience through Via Dinarica and Chemonics among the others, and has also completed the Sustainable Tourism Community of Learning and Practice with Colorado State University’s Center for Protected Area Management. Stefan Pejović has more than 20 years of experience in communications and field operations. For the past years, he has worked with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) on missions across Africa, the Middle East, and search&rescue (SAR) on the Mediterranean Sea.
