(43200) Lapte - Champdappe

Welcome to the Lapte motorhome area - Aire de Champdappe! The area is located in the Haute-Loire department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. More precisely, it is located near the center of the commune of Lapte, offering easy access to amenities.   This motorhome area offers several essential services such as a wastewater drain point, a drinking water supply point and electrical connections. Visitors can also take advantage of a designated picnic area and bins for selective sorting, thus contributing to cleanliness and respect for the environment.   In the immediate vicinity of the area you will find: the Via Fluvia (greenway), a City Park, a dirt bike-cross course.   In the town of Lapte (250 meters away), visitors will find various shops and services. There is a bakery, a grocery store, a wine cellar, a bar restaurant and a butcher's shop.   Also note the presence of a children's play area. Dominating the village, our Saint-Jean-Baptiste church has been listed as a historic monument since 1998. Its size and the slender silhouette of its bell tower make it the flagship element of our heritage. It has housed a Foucault pendulum since 2017 (less than 10 in France).   2km away, Le Relais du Lignon welcomes you to its bar restaurant. Also note the sale of bottled gas and fuel.   3km away, the mountain lake of Lavalette invites you to take a walk around the lake (30km on foot or mountain bike), its restaurant "Les terrasses de Lavalette", its water activities and supervised swimming in July-August.   5 km away, the Himalayan footbridge of the Gorges du Lignon (the longest in France: 268 m) connects Grazac to Saint Maurice de Lignon. In addition, Lapte has marked hiking trails.   Also note, the village festival, the last weekend in July.
