There are no signs prohibiting parking overnight. It is convenient for a walk around the town and a visit to the Shetland Museum. It is also adjacent to a cinema and events space. We had a quiet night here. There is a slight slope - we were able to level it with air suspension. There are some spaces where a longer vehicle can overhang the grass - we got a 7. 35m motorhome in with just a small overhang on the front of the space. It was windy when we parked here but this spot was nicely sheltered.
