You're parked in an old quarry, obviously not as romantic as the spot further up the road. However, the view of the mountains is fantastic. There's usually only one spot available at the bottom, while the steep ramp at the top makes it more suitable for 4x4s, but there are certainly 3-4 spots. SH75 is in poor condition, especially coming from the north/above. But if you drive slowly, it's easily manageable for any vehicle. The reward: an area with almost no traffic, where you can park alongside the road in complete peace and quiet!
