Nestled between Lousa and Escalos de Cima, between Castelo Branco (20 minutes) and Fundão (40 minutes), CatsVille offers an escape for those who appreciate the simplicity of primitive camping and self-sufficiency. What We Offer: - Accommodation: You can rent a tent with a camping bed, mattress, sleeping bag, electric bedsheet and pillow for €5 per night or sleep in your own vehicle. - Outdoor Shower: Refresh yourself with a cold water shower under the open sky. (Warm water available by heating with a firepit). - Laundry: Wash your clothes in our small outdoor washing machine and let them dry naturally in the sun or you can do your laundry at the Intermache in Alcains. - Water: Fresh water is available from our well. - Power: If the sun provides enough, we can share solar power for lighting and small devices, or you can rent our gasoline generator.   Important to Know: - No Toilet: Please plan accordingly as we do not have toilet facilities. - Road Access: The road to CatsVille is narrow and bumpy, so vehicles over 6 meters long or wider than 2.5 meters may struggle to access our land. - No Smoking: To keep our space clean and safe, we ask that you do not smoke. - Animals Welcome: Families, children, and pets are welcome. Please note that our cats and poultry roam freely, so we ask that any visiting animals are well-behaved and kept under control. Special Note: We have many cats that need to be sterilized and rehomed. If you’re looking for a travel companion or just want to spend time with some friendly felines, come meet our cats—they’d love the attention!
