The road widens here. - It is a rare spot where parking a van for a while by the lake won't disrupt the very occasional traffic on this mostly single-lane road. - But opposite, there's a 100 mtr rubble track into the woods that stops at a turning circle. - There is a delightful secluded wooded glen here, with its own stream & still with a view of the lake. - Presume the track was built recently when road repairs were done. - Best not to leave camper unattended, in case the track has some current purpose. - Probably off-roading up this track is not suited for bigger mobiles, but the narrow road itself is probably not best suited. (but it is on a bus route). - There's no mud on the track & my campervan made it up easily.
