Kumsheen Rafting Resort

The campground has evolved over the past 50 years from a rafting center on the Thompson River. This remains the focal point of the resort. There are cabins, teepees, tent sites, and recently, six RV sites with electric and water hookups. A dump station is also available. What makes the resort truly exceptional is its ambiance and the many recreational activities for the whole family – a playground, outdoor pool + whirlpool + bar, basketball and beach volleyball courts, cornhole, horseshoes, and disc golf are all available free of charge. There are two washrooms with showers and two pit toilets. The reception area with a coffee bar and Kumsheen merchandise rounds things out. One thing you should know: the campground is located between the highway and the railroad, and the long trains also run at night! Earplugs are available for sensitive ears. Overall, this is a highly recommended place!
