Parking lot at Fort Sint Pieter. Beautiful location for walks, visit fortress and caves we are here now on Jan 4, 2023. it is 8 pm and everything is now closed and quiet. the parking lot is quite remote in the city of Maastricht, but as to be expected with places like this, there is occasional traffic passing by and young people who come here in their cars to do what they do, give your imagination a shot and you must be right? in any case no nuisance, so far and we will soon watch a movie before going to sleep, with hopefully a nice quiet night. it is a paid parking lot from 08:00 to 18:00 and on Thursday shopping evenings until 21:00. it is a nice walking distance from the center of Maastricht. update 05 Jan 2023 good morning Maastricht! the night went quietly, but until 00.30 we had all kinds of traffic and loiterers around us who were celebrating their evening and sought shelter next to the camper, which in turn gave me a restless feeling, but in the end it became quiet and we were able to sleep peacefully at night. now quietly prepare for a day in Maastricht.
