Macfarlane Station Camping

The Macfarlane Station camping areas are set on a working sheep station run by the owners Louise and Marty. There are two areas on the property where you can set up; next to the house dam and up near the shearers quarters. Both are excellent areas to see the variety of animals on the property such as the horses, llamas, and of course sheep and also to take in the beautiful sunsets in the evenings. The house dam can be swum in during the hotter periods bearing in mind that during times of scarse rainfall, the dam can be quite low. The shearers quarters have a flushing toilet and hot showers which can be used by campers down at the dam also. Well behaved dogs are most welcome and fires are permitted whilst there are no fire bans in place. This working station is well worth a visit.
