At the end of the lane there is a largely abandoned military range that looks obsolete, making this park up a particularly quiet spot to sleep overnight as there is no through traffic. Looks to be abandoned since 1960s or 80s. Theres no gate preventing access to the military range at the end of the lane, where there is also a huge flat parking area that would fit lots of LWB vans or even coaches!
