Flat, tarmacked parking lot about 50 meters from the road, so (during the day) you can hear some traffic, although we imagine it will be quieter at night. It is not a picnic area, but a simple parking lot. It has the advantage of being more open than the picnic sites near the lake while still offering a fair amount of privacy. It is very easy to access and maneuver, ideal for large motorhomes. When we were there, there was no one else, which makes sense since it is not a picnic spot. Still, the views are nice: on one side, the forest and the lake, and on the other, open countryside towards the road. There is good mobile data coverage and no prohibition signs. We only stopped to rest and eat, but it seems like a good place to spend a quiet night, since traffic is probably minimal at night.
