Montagu Campground

The Montagu Park campground a large area near the water with open areas to camp and plenty of shelter and shade between the trees. There are flushing toilets, dogs are permitted on leash and fires are also permitted unless there is a fire ban. You cannot book this site - first in first and a caretaker is on site to collect fees. The park is open all year except for the month of October when maintenance is carried out. Peak season is from 1st November to 30th April each year and a caretaker is on site to take fees. Outside the peak season of November to April, camping is permitted however payment will need to be made by contacting the local council
