The paved parking space (trucks are also possible) is located in the middle of the historic town center of Neuhaus an der Oste on natural terrain next to a small canal. An opaque hedge 2.5 m high separates it from the local (quiet) street. The historic harbor and a village shop with adjoining café (for breakfast) can be reached on foot in less than 5 minutes. You can also buy buns there on Sundays and public holidays. Just a few steps away is the Schlichting family's 9th generation spirits factory, "G.F. Ulex Successor". In the shop (ideal souvenirs) you can taste more than 30 different schnapps/liqueurs, (open Monday to Saturday). Also run by the family, the “Brauhaus Alt Neuhaus” operates from Wednesday to Saturday. from 5 p.m., craft beer (light and dark) as well as a wide range of craft Ulex spirits. From 6 p.m., there is also a small selection of dishes (pizza, baguettes, etc.). A small beer garden is open in summer. There is also a fun golf park (including table golf and foosball) with a gazebo just a short walk into town. In the Neuhaus holiday park (about 2 km away) there is a water ski/wakeboard center (SUP rental) with a swimming area in the Baltic Sea. There is also a gastronomic offer (Bistro & Seehus). The health resort of Wingst (7 km) and the town of Otterndorf (12 km) offer other attractive tourist destinations for day trips (swimming pools/outdoor pools, petting zoo, play and sports park, rental canoes/pedal boats, play barn, adventure playground, skate park, inflatable water castle and much more). There is a paid black water disposal station directly in Neuhaus (formerly the Heller flower shop). The pitch does not (currently) have its own electricity or water connection. But its central location sets it apart.
