With a medieval cathedral and a castle with a Victorian prison and a copy of the Magna Carta, it’s a historical outing indeed. The modern centrally-heated facilities block has male, female and disabled toilets, washing-up facilities and showers. There’s also a handy separate utility room with two sinks and drainers, a fridge, a washing machine and a tumble dryer (this one requires a small fee) to make your stopover comfier.
