A very large paid parking lot, right next to the old city wall. Those who want to sleep in pay the next day when they leave. Gravel/grass, shade along the wall in the evening, largely flat. Vans and RVs are welcome to stay overnight. Most other supposedly free spaces nearby are now subject to a fee. There are some free parking options in residential areas or by the river, but here it's completely legal. The guys who work here are all very nice and helpful. You can hardly get any closer to the center. The bus to the Skull Tower costs 120 denars, the swimming pool costs 300 denars and is a 5-minute bike ride away (all parking spaces there are now subject to a fee).
