(090006) Oral - Akhmediar Kusainov Street

Nothing special but considering the otherwise very limited options in Uralsk, this is the best place I've found to wait for my Russian visa. Parking up to 7-7.5 meters in length should not be a problem if you catch a good spot. I've seen minibuses parked here. It's on a side street with little traffic during the night but you can hear cars passing on the main street. The pub/restaurant nearby has people hanging out in front of it until midnight, but they didn't mind my presence at all. There were free spaces all the time I was parked here. If you continue further down the street, there is a well supplied supermarket. Next to the supermarket there is a really nice cafe/restaurant with power outlets at some tables. Two locals were there with their laptops. If you have a pet with you be warned that there are a lot of stray dogs hanging around (as everywhere else in Uralsk).
