We originally planned to head for a parking lot 1.8 km away and just stop for a photo. We spontaneously decided to stay overnight. If you don't mind the service and enjoy the sound of the Sjoa, this is a great place to spend the night. Parking is on a fairly well-paved (former) lumberyard with a great view. A campervan can easily be parked horizontally. Short walks and a great view of the old bridge and the roaring river are included.
