Faktos Forest Village

This area is an undiscovered gem of Greece, especially in autumn! You can walk here in untouched nature. Before you go to this (free) overnight accommodation, you must register. We have this at the info center in Mesochori (Paranesti), here they also give a lot of information about possible destinations to visit. Besides a spectacular view, don't expect too much from this place. There are clean Turkish style toilets, showers heated by a wood stove and a communal area with cooking facilities. Please note that it is a minimum of 2 hours drive from the nearest village, the last hour of which is on a (reasonably good) gravel road.
