Since the floods have washed away the access road to the bridge, this is the best place to park. Large clearing at the water's edge with easy access and a much nicer environment than the neighboring quarry (also signposted on P4N). Much of the nearby area fell into the river during the great storm, creating a dark and fascinating landscape. Given the volatility of the area, I wouldn't park here if a major storm was forecast. Easy 3 minute walk to see the old stone bridge from below.
