(ML6 7NY) Plains - Stepends Road

A simple stop off, nothing fancy - we like a place slightly back from the road as we have a dog. Around here is mostly fly tipping laybys! So this quiet car park for one night is okay - not suitable for large motor homes. Our van is 6m transit van conversion, bit bumpy on the way in, but not the worst. Sloping except for the far corner, possible to get pretty flat. Overall, probably a 2 star place, but sometimes that's all you need. Field and forest to walk dog near by. According to the faded sign this used to be Annieshill Forest Car Park with two way marked circular walks.
