We parked here on gravel next to the river, 40 mins from Auckland. It was recommended by a NZ couple who had it on their App. Good toilet facilities available at garage and eating places.. we enjoyed a meal at " Mercer Landing Kitchen Bar. " It is close to the motorway so can hear the traffic
