WELCOME TO AKTIVHOF PORSCHDORF! Our tent meadow on the edge of the Saxon Switzerland National Park offers spectacular views of the bizarre rock formations of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Right next to it, campervans and car sleepers can find a spot among the trees of our orchard. Since we are not an ADAC-certified campsite, there is no electricity or water available outside. However, at the main building, you will find tables and benches under a sheltered roof, washing-up areas, a modern sanitary block including showers, and even a few electrical outlets for emergencies. The adjacent, listed four-sided farmstead offers peace and quiet away from the tourist crowds and is an ideal starting point for hikes and active nature experiences in the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Backpackers, climbers, nature lovers, and cyclists are just as welcome as families, school groups, clubs, or companies. Due to high demand in this exceptional setting, advance booking via the website or by phone is recommended. Large motorhomes are expressly not permitted! Note: Our campsite is exactly the way we like it when we travel. If you're expecting a gravelled, rectangular patch of sand, you've come to the wrong place. P.S. The municipality of Bad Schandau charges a tourist tax of €3 per person per night. That's not our fault!
