Public free P on PORTAGEM village along one secondary road and the river, after the pool and after small chapel (long places before it are for buses). 7 perpendicular places available (initial nearly 10 m long), ahead on line ones. Flat, viewing whole Marvão stone hill, illuminated. There's beside medieval bridge and tool tower (both XVI century); crossing it there are good shaded picnic tables on left and right, and a bar and further good restaurant with shade esplanade beside river. The old path to Marvão, hiking PR5 MRV (panel between bridge and tower) starts here. This county is very rich in megalithic monuments (27 dolmens and 3 menhirs - see panel at the top of the bridge, only in Portuguese). Cold shower just after white building bar after old bridge. Busy on daylight of Summertime. No sign concerning MH prohibiting or overnight.
