(80274) Preodac - Šumska cesta do Šator jezera

Parked 2min walk from the lake. You can see the lake from the spot we parked right beside the old abounded mountain hut. We arrived very late at night in the middle of the storm. To get here you have to go through the village Grahovo (this might be useful since the navigation took us 1h from the main route because it is poorly signed.) the road is good. It is useful to have 4w4 especially outside of season as it might be muddy and full of ponds. This is a wild animals territory so be ware of the bears and wolves. We saw one and they can be also seen at the lake and elsewhere in the forest so please be watchful. It is very cold in November so dress as you would in winter. It is a little messy around because of the trash. Also recommendation to not go down the road from this parking trying to get to the lake if you don’t have a 4w4 pickup with good tires otherwise be prepared to get stuck.
