You can spend the nigth here! Museum's parking lot. Gravel. Really peaceful place. There is forest around and if you come at the right time of the year there are lots of blueberries and lingonberries in the forest. The museum is open 23.6.-13.8. from Friday to Sunday 11-17. Well known Finnish author, Mauri Kunnas, has got the inspiration for his Koiramäki-series from here. The illustrations in the book Koiramäen talossa, is actually drawn based on the Yli-Kirra museum. There is a lot of space to park any kind of vehicle. The place is situated near Punkalaidun village and in the village there is grocery store and gas station. Both of them you can find in the Google Maps. Please respect the old architecture and don't leave any trashes at the parking zone.
