Camping De Ruige Venne

A small-scale farm campsite in the village of Rasquert on Het Hogeland in beautiful Groningen. Close to the Lauwersmeer lake area and the charming village of Winsum, the campsite is an ideal base for hiking or cycling, for example, along the Pieterpad. Fishing waters are also within walking distance. You can also easily take the train from Baflo to the city of Groningen. You can also take the train to Eemshaven to visit the German island of Borkum, for example. There are also opportunities for mudflat hiking from Pieterburen, or a day trip to Schiermonnikoog from Lauwersoog. The campsite is located on a sheep farm and has a maximum of 11 pitches. The pitches are approximately 100m² in size. This makes it perfect for those who enjoy peace, space, and beautiful views of the meadows and farms.
