Take the small road towards Ribnica. WARNING: the dirt road to get to this place is really bad, full of holes, very narrow, and there are not many places where you can turn around, or make room in case someone comes from the other direction. There is also another place before this one where you can park and drink fresh water from the fountain. If you decide to go further, be prepared for even worse road conditions, but it's still possible with a normal car or van, you don't need a 4x4. From there you can walk to Korab falls, it's 12km to get there, 1400m elevation. For the most part you will be walking through the woods with lots of shade. After about 4 km there is a place with fresh drinking water, and also when you are near the waterfall you will come across a fountain. The waterfall dries up in hot summers, but when I was there in mid-July there was still a small stream. The best time to visit would be spring. I saw a small brown bear walking through the woods, but it quickly ran away.
