Ham Common Woods Local Nature Reserve, Richmond, TW10 5HG. Layby grovel carpark opposite the entrance to the woods and to the side of a church's wall (Park to the side, not in front of the Church gate). Fairly level and a little higher than the road, but there is no separation from the road. It is a quiet road though with the occasional car passing. Dog walkers during the day and visitors to the Church graveyard. There are a couple of pubs down the road. Ham common is a nice woods with plenty of beautiful walks. Not far from Richmond Park and the deer. 10 minutes drive from Ham Street carpark with a beautiful walk on the river Thames. Good spot for kayaking and also wild swimming, though know what you are doing. This is part of the tidal Thames.
